Samsung appointed Aura Consulting to lead the 100,000 sqft refurbishment of its European Headquarters in Chertsey.

The project involved a complex multi-floor CAT A and B fit-out, comprehensive M&E upgrades, and a full car park refurbishment. The objective was to modernise the workplace and campus infrastructure to reflect Samsung’s global brand and improve the employee experience.

Challenges

Pandemic Resilience – Delivered during the height of COVID-19, the project required strict health and safety management. Aura implemented rigorous sanitation and staggered workstreams to ensure site safety without compromising the critical path.

Strategic Project Recovery – Aura was engaged to provide stabilising leadership following early delivery challenges. By recalibrating project governance and restoring stakeholder confidence, Aura successfully recovered the programme and met all revised milestones.

Sub-Floor Logistics – The CAT A works utilised a complex underfloor M&E strategy. Aura meticulously managed the sequencing of these works and site access to ensure technical infrastructure integrated seamlessly with high-specification CAT B finishes.

Seamless Campus Refurbishment – Aura managed the large-scale car park refurbishment in parallel with the interior fit-out. Meticulous planning ensured zero disruption to ongoing site operations and deliveries throughout the construction phase.
