GLAS, a premier independent capital markets agency, appointed Aura Consulting to lead the delivery of their new London headquarters to 10 Old Bailey. Aura was engaged from the project’s inception, providing strategic support through feasibility studies and property selection before managing the end-to-end design development and technical delivery.

The brief was to create a sophisticated environment reflecting the firm’s brand strength, anchored by a high-specification client meeting suite for hosting international visitors. Aura’s role was to ensure this vision was realised through rigorous project management and cost consultancy, bridging the gap between property acquisition and operational readiness within a 5-month window.

Challenges

Transportation Challenges – The building’s goods lift was out of service for the majority of the programme. Aura implemented an alternative logistics strategy with the contractor, ensuring material movement and waste removal continued without impacting the strict timeline.

City of London Constraints – Delivering a premium fit-out in a busy City location required navigating limited site access and the absence of a dedicated loading bay. Aura managed “just-in-time” deliveries and meticulous coordination to keep the programme on track.

Fibre Wayleaves – Securing the fibre line required proactive management of complex wayleave agreements. Aura coordinated between the landlord and legal teams to ensure all technical infrastructure was operational for day-one occupancy.
