Reignwood Group

A Strategic Command Centre At The Corn Exchange

Spec
Brief

Reignwood Group, a premier global investment group, appointed Aura Consulting to lead the 12,000 sqft CAT A and CAT B fit-out of their London headquarters at 55 Mark Lane, also known as The Corn Exchange. Following Reignwood’s £92.5 million freehold acquisition of the building, the project was designed to centralise their UK operations.

The space served a dual purpose: a high-specification executive office for the investment team and a critical administrative nerve centre for the simultaneous redevelopment of Ten Trinity Square into a Four Seasons Hotel and private members’ club.

Challenges

Operational Synergy & Proximity – A unique requirement of the brief was the integration of a temporary basement project office. This functional space was essential for the team overseeing the massive “cut and carve” refurbishment of Ten Trinity Square, located just 300 metres away. Aura managed the logistical challenge of maintaining a prestige front-of-house environment while supporting the intense, daily coordination required for one of London’s most complex archaeological and structural heritage projects.

Owner-Occupier Transition – As Reignwood moved into the building as owner-occupiers, Aura had to manage the fit-out within a live, multi-tenanted environment. We ensured that Reignwood’s 12,000 sqft flagship space was delivered without disrupting existing office and retail tenants, maintaining the Grade A standards of the 161,000 sqft asset throughout the seven-month programme.

Technical Management –Aura oversaw the delivery of high-density infrastructure required to support both the investment arm and the specialized project teams. This included ensuring the technical readiness of the basement “command centre” to facilitate constant communication with partners such as Four Seasons and Chateau Latour.

Highlights

Strategic Hub Realisation – Successfully established a central headquarters that facilitated the delivery of Reignwood’s most high-profile London developments.

Functional Versatility – Delivered a workspace that balanced the luxury requirements of a global investment firm with the raw, high-intensity needs of a major construction project office.

Asset Value Enhancement – The high-quality fit-out reinforced 55 Mark Lane’s status as a premier Grade A asset in the City’s insurance district, supporting Reignwood’s long-term investment strategy.
