Houlihan Lokey, a premier global investment bank, appointed Aura Consulting to manage the furniture and technology procurement for their new Munich office.

Part of a 14-project global partnership, this engagement in a pre-fitted space required Aura to lead the specification and integration of high-end AV infrastructure and furniture. Managed from London, we ensured the project remained aligned with global headquarters while catering to the bespoke requirements of the local Munich management team

Challenges

Specialist Approvals – A critical challenge was securing ‘Baubeschreibung’ approval from a technically rigorous landlord. Aura navigated the complex German regulatory landscape and landlord negotiations to ensure all installations were permitted without compromising the three-month programme.

Time-Critical Delivery – Driven by a fixed office closure, Aura implemented an accelerated procurement strategy. We coordinated multiple supplier teams to ensure long-lead items were delivered and installed in sync with the hard move-in date.

Global Coordination – Operating across multiple time zones, Aura coordinated between US-based stakeholders, the London HQ, and local German teams. This required a rigorous communication schedule to ensure that procurement decisions remained aligned with both global brand standards and local Munich design preferences.
